The yellow
and red circle is the connector for power supply pin. The yellow circle represents the
power supply from the 12V battery and the red circle represents the power
supply from the solar panel 10W. During this testing, one of the supply pin was unplugged from the circuit connector, the results from this test proved that the circuit was still operating. From this two power supply powering main board testing, the results was positive. In order to design most trusted and reliable home security system, it is important for security system to operates 24hours in protecting home. This project is can also be tested during night case condition. For this project, the 12V battery can produce enough power supply in activating the security system whenever the solar panel produces less output power in powering the system
circuit. The battery produces 12V output and the rated voltage measured from the solar panel is 17.86V.
