PROJECT BACKGROUND
The home
security can be more dependable and trusted with smart operating concept. Some
factors that can be improved in terms of safety are the working principle of
the security system. As we know, there are many factors have to be considered
in designing a security system such as
the operating methods, types of sensors used, activation and deactivation
method of the security system. This project is designed using microcontroller
working principle operation.Microcontroller
16F877A is used in operating the multiple sensor operation in this project.
The
sensor type used in this project are:
- 5 magnetic switch
- 2 vibration sensor
- PIR
motion sensor
A 10W solar panel is used in powering the circuit and charging 12V battery. The battery works as the supply backup for this circuit. This is because when there is not enough power generated from the solar panel, the system can still operates normally and also to ensure the security system is anytime ready to be activated.
